A former Presidential Candidate of the Alliance for Democracy, AD, Prince Eniola Ojajuni has been abducted in Abuja.
Ojajuna, the AD Presidential Candidate in 2019, is also the National President of the Afenifere Youth Council.
He was abducted in a horrifying manner.
Eye witness accounts said he was first shot on the buttocks by the gunmen before he was
kidnapped even as he bled profusely from the gun shot wound.
The kidnappers accosted him Monday, while he was on his way to a meeting, it is reported.
The Afenifere Youth Council, has confirmed the fate of their National President in a statement.
It said: “The Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply saddened to announce the kidnapping of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja, Nigeria.
“During the kidnapping, Prince Ojajuni sustained a bullet wound on his buttocks. We are deeply concerned about his safety and well-being, and we urge the kidnappers to release him unharmed.”
Already, unconfirmed reports said, his abductors has made contacts with his family, and are demanding the sum of N100 million in exchange for his freedom.
