The project was commissioned by former President Olusegun Obasanjo who promised to cooperate with the governor in his development strides.
The governor explained that the project becomes imperative to reduce traffic congestion in the state capital.
Adeleke assured that development will also be extended to other towns in the state by his administration.
The governor was joined at the ceremony, which was part of activities to mark his second anniversary by some of his colleagues in the seventh Senate including Dino Melaye, Biodun Olujinmi and Duro Faseyi.
While commissioning the roundabout, former President Obasanjo said that the development stride of Governor Adeleke worthy of commendation just within two years into his administration.
He commended him for paying the entitlements of retirees in the state, urging the people and traditional rulers to continue to support the governor.
According to the supervising highway director, the project which is about 2.1 kilometers, was handled by local contractors.
