The Sum of N105,000 proposal has been submitted to President Bola Tinubu as the New Minimum Wage for Workers by Minister of Finance, Wale Edun.
This is as the Finance Minister met the 48-hours deadline given to him by President Bola Tinubu.
It was gathered that the template proposes a new minimum wage of N105,000 (approximately $220 USD) per month for Nigerian workers.
The President is presently reviewing the proposal and would soon make an official announcement as regards the Minimum Wage.
The Orgaised Labour had embarked on a nationwide strike on Monday, which it paused on Wednesday to allow for further consultations with Government.
To resolve it, the President asked Edun to work out for him, within 48 hours, the figures to present to  Labour before the five-day ultimatum which Labour gave to the Government to sort it out expires.
Labour had threatened to continue its strike if an agreement is not reached within the five-day pause.
The two-day strike paralyzed the country and inflicted a maximum power blackout in the country as the workers switched off the National Grid.
