Two customers of Fidelity Bank Plc had no hint that their fortune was about to change forever, when they were invited to the Saka Tinubu Branch of the bank on Monday, January 21.
But here they are, 24 hours after, Omolade Olatawura and Isabela Chekwube have now joined the prestigious millionaire club in the country.
They can decide to use the money to improve their lifestyles.
Better still, the lucky customers can invest the cash on any business of their choice.
The truth, however, is that Fidelity and Nnamdi Okonkwo have given them an opportunity to climb the ladder of riches, never to be poor again.
The two loyal customers, who received N1 million Naira prize each at the presentation of of cash and gift prizes to winners in the ongoing Get Alert In Millions(GAIM) season 4 promo held by the bank in Lagos, were all smiles by the time they left the venue on Monday.
They were glad that the bank did not fail them after so much trust.
Regulatory bodies, the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC)and Lagos State Lotteries Board (LSLB) were on stand to make sure that bank keep its words with the customers.
That could not be said of other deposit money bank who are only interested in frisking from their customers, one investment banker told the magazine.
Some mischief makers have actually suggested that the Bank’s Promo was also a fluke.
“But seeing is believing. Now that they have witnessed how the lives of some people are changing for good, they can chose to remain doubting Thomas’s. By the time they realised what is happening the train would have left the station, one of last year’s promo winner told the magazine.
The millionaire train is moving.
Just last week, 13 customers of the bank, became millionaires in the third monthly draw of the GAIM promo Season 4 in Lagos.
Apart from cash prizes, loyal customers have also been rewarded with consolation prizes worth over N16 million, the magazine was told.
The gifts include fridges, television sets and power generating sets and other household goods.
The Managing Director of the bank, Nnnandi Okonkwo has assured that Fidelity Bank will never fail its customers having sustained the promo for 13 years.
The bank will still do more in the future, he said.
Indeed, many start ups have emerged through the promo in the last couple of years.
Some past winners told the magazine that their businesses have experience growth after ploughing back the cash prize into their seed capital.
Nothing can be more assuring that Okonkwo’s reiteration that the bank will not stop changing peoples’ lives.
Indeed, Fidelity Bank has kept its word 13 years down the line.
