Students of the Federal Girls College, Khali, Abuja have been sent home from school.
The Management of the school took the preemptive step over fears of terrorist attack.
It, therefore, asked parents to urgently come and evacuate their children from the school.
According to the Chairman, Parents Teachers Association, PTA, Suleiman Idajili, the decision was taken following an attack by terrorists on Sheda, a village very close to the school Sunday morning.
Terrorists had, on a number of occasions, targeted schools, especially, in the North, and abducted hundreds of students, some of whom are still in captivity.
