Examination Malpractice has become a norm in the nation’s Education system, and in a move to curb it the Oyo State Government will henceforth penalise Principals and Teachers fingered in any form of it, and falsification of documents, fingered by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).

The Education Commissioner stressed that under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, it has vowed not to compromise hard-work for dishonesty.
He emphasized that the present Government is putting everything aright in the education sector of the State, through provision of funds, regular payment of salaries, arrears and promotions.
He emphasized zero tolerance for examination malpractices by the present administration, stating that the end result of examination malpractices is not just suicidal but capable of painting the State in bad light, also messing up and destroying the future of the young ones
In the same vein, the Chairman, Teaching Service Commission, Akinade Alamu, cautioned School managements and teachers to be wary of such acts.
Represented by the Commission’s Permanent Secretary, Mrs Bisi Oderinde, the Chairman stated that any Principal or teacher found culpable will be demoted coupled with other serial sanctions.
