Organizers of the Nationwide protest against Hunger, Sufferings and Bad Governance have called for the immediate sack of the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, for the killing of some protesters by the Police in some parts of the country.
Hassan Taiwo, National spokesperson of the Youth Rights Campaign, and leader of #EndBadGovernance in Lagos, made the call during the Candle Light Symposium for those who lost their lives in the #EndBadGovernance Nationwide Protest held in Ikeja, Lagos State Capital.

A three-day mourning has, also, been declared by the group at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota, Lagos, for those killed nationwide during the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.
The hunger strike, which was earlier slated to last for 10 days, entered it’s 10th Saturday, and is expected to end same Saturday.
In the same vein, the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, CDHR, led a Candle Light Procession to the Office of the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-olu, at Alausa, Ikeja, to show their displeasure over the death of some protesters.
