“The leadership of the party in Ado-Ekiti noted that the party lost woefully in the last governorship election due to the greed and self centeredness of the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.

“Therefore, it is morally wrong for him or his son to be asking for support of the people of Ado-Ekiti having wrecked serious havoc on our party in the state

“The era of using our party to siphon public funds is over. Never again will any individual be allowed to take the support of our people for granted in Ado-Ekiti.

“We are equally aware of his divide and rule tendencies by luring some people with his looted funds for support.

“Using an octogenarian to truncate the resolve of the people is dead on arrival and such will be addressed in due course.”

Fayose is allegedly being accused of currently making underground moves to swift allegiance to PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, as part of measure to ensure victory of his son.

He has been one of the pillars behind Rivers state Governor Nyesome Wike battle to remove Iyorcha Ayu as PDP national chairman.
