A sigh of relief swept across most parts of the South-east with the news of the release of Obi Cubana from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The celebrity businessman and socialite was a guest of the EFCC on Monday, November 1. He arrived the EFCC Jabi Headquarters at about 11.00am.
Even though there has been no statement from the EFCC, reports say he was grilled by the operatives over alleged money laundering and tax evasion.
He was released on Tuesday, November 2, by 1.00pm.
