Gunmen have abducted the Edo State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa. They also killed his driver in the process. He was abducted, it is reported, along the Oza Road, in the Orhiomwon Local Government Area of the state.
A lawyer, the HoS was on his way back to Benin after attending an event in Oza Saturday evening.
No demands have been made, as his abductors have made no contacts.
Edo State Command of Police has yet to issue a statement.
