In a surprise move, Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has dropped Samson Osagie as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.

Osagie was replaced with Prof. Roland Itoya Otaru.

This was contained in the list of Commissioners released by Secretary to the State Government, Musa Ikhilor.

Okpebholo also increased Ministries in the state to 28 to “ensure the seamless alignment of the Governor’s SHINE Agenda with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“This restructuring aims to enhance administrative efficiency, improve coordination across critical sectors, and strengthen the capacity of Government to deliver effectively on its mandate to the people of Edo State.”
