Encomium and condolences have continued to trail the death on Tuesday, July 2 2024, of veteran Kano- born Journalist Kabiru Yusuf
The Deputy Senate President, Jibril Barau, on Wednesday, June 3 described the death of Yusuf as a huge loss.
In a statement issued by his Media Aide Ismaila Mudashir, Barau, who is also from Kano, acknowledged the remarkable contributions of late Yusuf to the Journalism profession and Education in general.
He described the deceased as a hardworking and committed professional who gave his all to Journalism .
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Kabiru Yusuf during this difficult time. May Allah SWT grant him Jannaful Firdausi” the Deputy Senate President stated.
Until his death, Yusuf was a Journalist with the Radio France Internationale, Hausa Service.( RFI )
He was at various times the Federal Capital Territory FCT correspondent of the Kano State-owned Triumph Newspaper, and RFI Hausa Service .
He covered activities at the State House for many years
