Cross River: Man kills Aunt for Allegedly Causing Him Erection Spiritually, Pastor Caught with a Human Skull

Men of Cross River state police Command and crime reporters were awe-struck Tuesday during a parade of criminals at the command headquarters, Calabar, as they listened to a blood-chilling murder confession of a 34 year old man, Christian Edem-Eyo of Calabar South local government area of the state.

Also paraded was a 45 old pastor of new generation Church, who was allegedly caught with a human skull.

According to the police,  Edem-Eyo,34, allegedly murdered Uduak Effiong Okpo, 65, and buried her head and the body separately on June 23, 2021.

In his chilling confession, the suspect claimed he murdered Okpo because she belonged to the spiritual world.

“I killed Uduak Okpo because she belonged to the marine world. She was terrorising me spiritually in the compound. She was making my manhood to rise spiritually, that was why I killed her,” he said.

The pastor, Michael Bassey of United Evangelical Church, was arrested for unlawful possession of a skull at No. 56, Uwanse, off Asuquo Ekpo Street, in Calabar South Local Government Area of the state.The state Commissioner of Police, Sikiru Akande, said Bassey was arrested upon a complaint from a concerned citizen on threat to life.

Akande: “The suspect was arrested with one human skull tied with the complainant’s picture and carved human image with red clothes.

“Investigation is still ongoing and the suspect will be arraigned in court.
