Corper Delivered Of Baby Girl In Ekiti |The Source

The number of youth corps members deployed to Ekiti for their service year has increased. A female corps member has been delivered  of a baby girl.

Odoh Abigael, with service number, EK/20B/0375, who reported at Emure Ekiti Orientation camp last week for her service year put to bed at the Community Health  Centre  after the completion of her registration processes.

 A statement signed by the Ekiti NYSC Public Relations Officer, Mrs Rose Onoja, explained that the corps member after registration, went straight to the Camp Clinic where the baby was assessed as due for delivery.

“She was immediately moved to the nearest hospital , “General Hospital, Emure”, where she was delivered of the baby girl.”

Report from the hospital say  that  mother and child are doing well.

However, it is not known why Odoh was allowed to register at all when she was heavily pregnant.

Pregnant women are usually exempted from registeration until they put to bed, and wean their babies.
