The comment attributed to the Special Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, over the gruesome murder of Deborah Yakubu, a student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, which is trending, is not a recent comment by him.
Ahmad’s comment supporting the killing of anybody over BLASPHEMY has nothing to do with the incident at hand.
Ahmad made that statement in 2015 over another lynching of a Christian in Kano, alleged to have committed blasphemy.
