Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, To Establish University Of Technology |The Source

The Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, is set to establish a new University.

The Chuch already has two very well known Universities,  Paul University, Awka, Anambra State, and the Bishop Ajayi Crowther, University, in Ogun State.

The new University, named Anglican University of Technology, will be sited at Kwaita, Abuja.

According to the Archbishop, Metropolitan, and Primate of All Nigeria, His Grace, The Most Rev’d Henry Ndukuba, “The University will be our National Church University.”

Already, the Primate had set-up a 17- man Church of Nigeria Task Force for the establishment of the University

Worried about the state of education in the country, and the moral upbringing of youths, many religious denominations have been establishing private universities, especially to re-orintate the youths, morally.

By establishing a University of Technology, the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, is being sensitive to the new world which is, mostly, technology-driven.
