Security agents in Calabar, the Cross River state capital, have launched a manhunt for the abductors of the wife of The Sun newspaper Correspondent in the state, Mrs Uduak Judex Okoro who was kidnapped by gunmen on Tuesday.
Mrs Okoro was kidnapped around 8.30pm Tuesday in Big Qua axis of the capital.
Her husband, Judex Okoro, who is also the Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel confirmed the ugly incident in Calabar.
He told The Source that his wife was on visit to that part of Calabar when the incident happened
Okoro decried his wife’s abduction, describing it as one kidnap too many.The distraught journalist noted that his wife had earlier been kidnapped seven years ago. Meaning: This is the second time she would be kidnapped.
“All relevant security operatives have been informed” he stated.
