After a long lull, president Buhari is poised to jet out again to London, according to sources. He is expected to attend the commonwealth heads of government in London, but is also expected to use the opportunity for his vacation. Recently, he has been showing signs of fatigue in his activities. In mosques, he s observed to sit on a chair instead of the traditional mats, with security agencies standing around in dark suits within the mosque.

Even when he came to Lagos for Bola Tinubu Birthday, he perfunctorily commissioned the Bus stop at Ikeja and wasted no time, giving an impression of am ailing president  who do not want excessive activities.

Since he came back from London for the treatment of an undisclosed ailment, he has bee observed to be moving with unusual vigor, fueling speculations of a cloned president, a rumor that found it difficult to gain traction among Nigerians, except for the die hard anti Buharists.

Before his departure, he hosted APC governors, who came to discuss the issue of Tenure extension but appear to speak with discordant tunes. However, a statement has been made on their behalf suggesting that they have succumbed to the position of President Buhari.

Buhari Wednesday shelved council of state meeting ahead of his travels to host service and security chiefs. The meeting, scheduled to have been held on Easter Monday, was shifted to Wednesday, prompting the cancellation of the Federal Executive council meeting, the fourth time under the administration of Buhari.

Speculations are rife that his travel is not unconnected with his deteriorating health, and that a fresh set of treatments of his hitherto undisclosed disease may commence. His travel coincides with the commonwealth meeting.

It is not clear whether he has already transmitted a letter to the National Assembly about his intentions. Last time, he transmitted a letter indicating Osinbajo will be in control, but he had some no go areas in his activities, fueling speculations that he was a figure head under the cabal.
