Death has once again struck the Nollywood Industry, as popular and energetic actor, Junior Pope, drowned and died at a Movie Location in Marine Cable Point, Asaba, Delta State.
It was gathered the boat coveying the Actor and some other crew members capsized, and the actor drowned.
Breaking the news of the demise of the actor was filmmaker, Sam Olatunji, who disclosed that the actor was on a movie location when the unfortunate incident happened Wednesday, 10th April, 2024.
The news of the death of Pope is coming less than 48 hours after the demise of another Nollywood Actress, Adejumoke Aderounmu, who died less than two weeks to her birthday.
Pope’s passing makes it the Sixth actor to have died in the industry this year.
John Okafor, Amaechi Muonagor, Quadri Oyebamiji, Andy Best and Adejumoke Aderounmu.
The social Media has been agog following the news of the demise of Junior Pope who is known for his energetic display and good interpretation of roles.
