Breaking: Nollywood Loses Another Veteran Actor, Femi Oyewunmi

In less than 72 hours, the Nigeria Movie industry has yet again lost another Veteran Actor, Femi Oyewunmi, popularly known as Laditi.

No doubt the Nollywood industry, specifically the Yoruba genre of Nollywood has been thrown into mourning over the death of veteran actor and producer, who distinguished himself with his craft.

The prolific actor died on Thursday, May 21 at the age of 58, but was made public went viral today .

His demise was announced by the deceased’s younger brother, Prince Kehinde Adegoke Oyewunmi on Facebook.

The deceased’s brother also said that Laditi had been battling chronic back ache for some months and that he was rushed to the hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2020, where he passed away.

The remains of the actor would be buried in Ogbomosho on Tuesday, May 26.

Laditi had featured in several movies such as Koto Orun, Aye Toto, Ija Eleye amongst others.

He is survived by wife and children, and will be solely missed by his colleagues, fans and families.
