After spending the night in the presidency for interrogation, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, has been suspended by the President Muhammadu Buhari.
The anti-graft czar was arrested in Abuja on Monday by men of the Department of State Services, DSS and whisked to the investigative panel headed by former president of the court of Appeal, Ayo Salami.
The EFCC later denied that Magu was arrested, that he was only invited by the private police. .
He’s still under custody and more interrogation will follow, sources privy to the Force Headquarters in Abuja told the magazine.
