Discharged on Friday, 24 hours after his father was discharged from the COVID-19 Isolation Center at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr. does not quite know what took him to the Centre.
“They said I had Coronavirus, but nobody gave me any result from any test I undertook. I saw none. I got none. And, I felt nothing”.
Dokpesi Jnr., who is the Chairman of DAAR Plc was at the Isolation centre for 21 days.
His father, High Chief Alegho Raymond Dokpesi, and other family members joined him a few days after he was taken-in, but was discharged 24 hours before him. Two of his children have also been discharged, but his wife and a couple of other family members remain at the Isolation centre.
On discharge, his father had doubted what his problem was, revealing that all the medications he was treated with were for Malaria. He also revealed that the laboratory and hospital tests undertaken by those, later said to be COVID-19 positive, showed that they only had a large dose of Malaria parasites in their blood.
Now, his son, on discharge, has added a new twist by saying that after 21 days in isolation, he neither saw, nor got the result of any test performed on him.
