Boko Haram: A Heartbroken Widow Tackles Nigerian Army, Says “It will never be well with you”

Her young handsome husband was a soldier, an officer of the Nigerian Army.

Usually, wives of Military personnel are proud of their husband’s career. They appreciate their husbands’ sacrifices to protect the country and keep it safe.

But today, a heartbroken Officer’s widow curses the Nigerian Army. She says it will never be well with them.

Her name is Oluwaseun Sakaba. Her husband was an officer in the Nigerian Army – Lt. Col. I. Sakaba.

Young, handsome, Sakaba was killed by Boko Haram Terrorists in 2018. He was one of the 44 soldiers, according to his widow, killed when the terrorists attacked the 157 Task Force Batallion in Metele, Guzamala Local Government Area,  Borno State.

According to his grieving wife, they not only killed her husband, they killed his younger brother and his mother.

The young widow has been grieving in silence. She has been bearing her pain. She has relocated to outside Nigeria to mourn alone. She, also alleges that her husband’s benefits have not been paid.

But today, she has chosen to break her silence. And she was pushed to do so by a photograph, ironically, allegedly, posted by the Nigerian Army.

The photograph is that of “repentant” Boko Haram insurgents, carrying placards, and asking for forgiveness.

She has some questions for them and the Nigerian Army.

Taking to her Instagram page, she tells the story of her pains, and she asks the Nigerian Army why she should forgive the insurgents –

For making her a young widow? For killing her husband? For killing her mother-in-law and brother- in-law? For forcing her to run  away from her country? For making widows of young women? For not paying her husband’s benefits?

And for posting the photograph, she tells the Army, “It will never be good for you.”

Following is widow Oluwaseun Sakaba’s heart breaking post.

She wrote:

”@hqnigerianarmy it we nev be well with all of u…I shld forgive dem for making me a young widow, I shld forgive dem for kill my husband, his brother and his mom!!

I shld forgive dem for making Me seek shelter in anod country!! I shld forgive dem for making many women widows and kids fatherless..I shld forgive dem for u not paying what is my late husband dues!!

I shld forgive dem for all der atrocities done to my family. U shot my husband dead in his office dat u pretended to be a friendly force just bcos he refuse to be part of ur plots ..time 4 dragging now”

The Nigerian Military has lost hundreds of officers and  men to the blood thirsty sect in defence of their beloved country.
