Bobrisky: VDM Tells NASS How He Got Recording Of Leaked Conversation

Martin Otse, popular as VeryDarkMan has revealed to the House of Representatives how he got hold of the leaked phone conversation made by Cross-dresser, Idris Olarenwaju Okuneye, popular as Bobrisky.

This followed

the invitation to two by the House to unravel the truth which accompanied the leaked audio conversation between Bobrisky and a yet-to-be named person.

The contents of the conversation which revealed that Bobrisky had,  allegedly, according to him, bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, with the sum of N15m, to drop money laundry charges against him, as well as Prison Officials to serve his six months jail term in a private apartment had sparked outrage nationwide. He, also, allegedly, said that Folarin Falana (Falz), the musician son of senior Lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN,was through his father, arranging for a Presidential pardon for him at a cost of N10m. Both father and son strongly deny the allegation and proceeded to Court. However, VDM has apologized to the Falana’s insisting he did not mean to defame them.

Before the House Monday, to which

Chairman  EFCC, Olu Olukayode, and Haliru Nababa, Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS, were also invited, VDM opened up.

Dressed in a flowing traditional attire, VDM in company with his Lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, said he got the tape from somebody Bobrisky owed the sum of N4 million.

Bobrisky who was, also invited was absent, but was represented by his Lawyer,  Ovwerosuoghene Omuvwie.

VDM had initially refused to address the Committee of the House in the absence of Bobrisky.

However, Lawmakers he was  compelled to  do so by the Lawmakers who threatened to order his arrest.

VDM explained the authenticity of the trending audio record, stating that it was received from someone whom Bobrisky owed money. He submitted part of the recording to the committee.

Recall that in April, 2024, Bobrisky was sentenced to a six-month imprisonment with no option of fine by a Court for abusing the Naira. He was prosecuted by the EFCC.

Bobrisky has since denied the audio recording and sued VDM to the tune of one billion Naira. He claims the voice recording was AI- generated.

The Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS,  has confirmed that Bobrisky was not in the male section of the Correctional Centre because he possesses female features.

When asked about what the features are, the official mentioned that Bobrisky has breasts unlike the normal male.

Meanwhile, a couple of officials of the NCoS has been placed on suspension pending the outcome of investigations.
