Fresh facts have emerged on the issues surrounding how popular Cross-Dresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, allegedly, spent his six months jail term at an Apartment close to the Correctional Centre.

Nollywood Actor and Media Personality, Destiny Ezeyin, also, known as Radiogad has disclosed that Bobrisky never spent hours at the Correctional Facility following his sentence by the Federal High Court for abusing the Naira.

This is coming amid Federal Government’s investigation into allegations made by Bobrisky that officials of anti graft agency,  the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, collected a bribe to the tune of N15 Million to drop the Money Laundering Charges against him, and that he bribed the Prison Officials to stay in an Apartment where he had access to everything, and not in the Correctional Facility as expected.

He had, allegedly, had this conversation on phone with Blogger, Vincent Otse, known as TheVeryDarkMan, who spilled the beans out in public domain.

Radiogad noted that evidence available with him showed that Bobrisky was inside an apartment close to the prison facility, saying you all know I don’t support all that. I don’t share same ideology with Verydarkman but on this, we are together.

He noted that all that the crossdresser didn’t do while in the apartment was to take pictures but busy chatting on different microblog platforms with friends and business associates during the six- month jail term.

In a video released through his official social media handle, the actor noted that the pictures released by other personalities that visited him inside the correctional facility were staged.

To prove his argument, he shared two voice notes Bobrisky sent to him while claiming to be inside the prison serving his jail term slammed on the crossdresser for abusing Naira.

In the recording, the crossdresser appreciated Radiogad for online publicity and image laundering.

Bobrisky noted that he couldn’t talk too much and has been warned not to make any posts.

The crossdresser added in the recording that he was very okay and doing very fine, contrary to what people were saying about him.

Radiogad explained that he decided to expose Bobrisky because the crossdresser never compensated him.

He further explained that he had been defending him against verbal onslaught about his gender.

Meanwhile, TheVerydarkman, has denied allegations of defamation against prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN.

VeryDarkMan denied the allegation in a video post on his Instagram account while expressing his deep respect for Falana whom he described as his Uncle.

VeryDarkMan’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has responded to the matter, clarifying that VDM simply questioned the validity of Bobrisky’s claims in the leaked audio and did not intend to defame Femi Falana.

The statement read: “We’re solicitors to Mr Martins Vicent Otse, now referred to as our client, on whose instruction we act. Our client received your letter dated September 25, 2024, on the above subject matter wherein you demanded the retraction of his Instagram publication containing a voice recording between Mr Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju (Bobrisky) and a third party.

“Our client denies defaming Mr. Femi Falana, SAN, a renowned Senior Advocate of Nigeria and globally recognised human rights activist, but asserts that he only published the said communication to get the relevant agencies and even your client to initiate a thorough investigation into the far-reaching allegations made by Mr Okuneye in the said voice recording, especially as some element of the voice recording has been confirmed by Mr Folarin Falana in his solicitor’s letter dated 25 September 2024.”

VeryDarkMan’s lawyer emphasised that the primary focus should be investigating the allegations Bobrisky allegedly made against certain EFCC officers rather than pursuing a defamation case.

“Our client holds Mr Femi Falana, SAN, in high esteem and recognises his commitment to protecting human rights and the rule of law in Nigeria. In light of the preceding, our client believes that the appropriate line of action in the circumstances is an interagency investigation into the allegations contained in the voice recording rather than pursuing a case of defamation”, Mr Adeyanju said.

In a Facebook post, Mr Adeyanju added that Falz should focus on Bobrisky, having acknowledged the call.

“For Falz: he should go and meet Bob about everything he/she said. Falz even admitted to having a phone call with Bob. End of discussion.”
