The Jehovah’s Witness has denied any knowledge of any doctrinal change within the organization contrary to reports that there is fresh directives for them to start receiving blood transfusion.
Jehovah’s witness as a group do not accept blood transfusion as an organization believing that such acts are not biblical.
This Magazine had written a story indicating that there has been a shift in doctrine of the organization. It based its news on information from a website which detailed an alleged release from the elders of the Organization indicating a shift in doctrinal focus. The website later pulled the story when the Source story went up.
But the local spokesman of Jehovah’s Witness, Jama Onwubuariri, has said he is not aware of such doctrinal change.
I n a letter to The Source, Onwubuariri said:
“In my capacity as the local spokesperson of the Jehovah’s Witness, I am not aware of such doctrinal change by the Witnesses, nor was any such communications shared by the Organization through any of the numerous channels by which Jehovah’s witness disseminate their information regarding their belief and activities”.
This being a direct reaction from the organization, it is now officially stated by this magazine that the former story is hereby retracted in it’s entirity, and apologies tendered by The Source.
