For former Imo State Governor, and Senator, Imo West, Rochas Okorocha, it is not only raining, it is pouring.

Troubles are hitting him from left, right and centre.

Still recovering from the forceful embarrassing manner he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, detained for days, and dragged to Court, which on Tuesday granted him bail to the tune of N500m, Okorocha has been dealt another blow.

His aspiration to become the President of Nigeria has been buried. He cannot even take part in the Primaries scheduled for between June 6 and June 7.

The APC Screening Committee, headed by former National Chairman of the Party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has disqualified him. With the disqualification, Okorocha has lost a whopping N100m Naira which he used to purchase the Forms, plus other expenses.

Not a few people blame Okorocha, a founding member of the APC, for his disqualification. The drama of the absurd which he put up when the EFCC went to his house to arrest him, many people say, was unbecoming, and did not recommend him to the office he was seeking to occupy. His resistance to be arrested, which forced the Operatives to enter his Maitama Abuja house through the ceiling to arrest him, was disgraceful.

Disqualified with Okorocha are:  Ben Ayade, Cross River State Governor. Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer,  Latter Rain Assambly,  Sani Yerima, former Governor of Zamfara State,  Ken Nnamani, former Senate President, Ikeobasi Mokelu, former Minister for Information, Dimeji Bankole, former Speaker, House of Representatives, Ajayi Borroface, Deputy Senate Leader, Felix Nicholas, USA-based Pastor, and the only woman aspirant, Uju Ken-Ohanenye.
