The All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos Chapter, is devastated  following the death of yet another Female Lawmaker in Shomolu Local Government Area – Honourable Basirat Mayabikan.

Though, opinions differ on the death of the four elected  female political officers, but some people are of the opinion  that they may have been  killed through fetish means due to envy and jealousy from their political rivals within the Party.

Reacting to the allegation of  diabolical means, Hon. Oluseye Oladejo, spokesperson for the APC  described the death of the

Four women as unfortunate, adding that insinuations of foul play would be disrespectful to the memories of the deceased.

In an interview with TheCable, Oladejo said, “As much as the situation is most unfortunate, it smacks of disrespect to the memories of the departed to insinuate anything untoward.

“All of them happen to be from different Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas. So it can’t be pinned down to any internal crisis.

“We should allow the families, friends, party and well-wishers  mourn them in peace, there’s absolutely nothing to investigate”, Oladejo stated.
