Albert Okumagba, 60, Dies |The Source

Nigeria’s business community and high society, have lost one of its own.

Warri, Delta State born Albert, an Economist, stockbroker, a son of the popular and famous  Okumagba family,  has died, aged about 60.

Okumagba, the boss of BGL died Thursday morning. He was educated at  the Universities of Lagos and Ibadan,as well as the Lagos Business School. He was a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

It is not yet known what the cause of death was, but speculation is that he died of cardiac arrest in Abuja.

In recent years, he had a rough time with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

In July 2018, he got into trouble with the Commission over an alleged fraud. He was later banned from SEC activities for 20 years over an alleged fraud of about N26bn.

His body has been deposited at a Maitama Hospital.
