National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS) is worried about the ongoing altercations between the Nigeria’s Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The students’ body seeks an end to it.
A reshuffle of sitting arrangement in the Senate chamber resulted in Akpoti-Uduaghan, Kogi central, accusing the Senate President of maltreatment because she rejected his se€ual advances towards her.
Akpabio’s wife has defended her husband, accused the Senator of attempting to blackmail her husband.
To the the students body, there must be an end to it because it is turning into an international embarrassment.
NANS has, therefore, called on President Bola Tinubu to wade into the altercation between Akpabio and Akpoti-Uduaghan.
NANS made this call in a statement signed by its National Vice President, Akinbodunse Felicia, on Saturday, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.
Akinbodunse sued for peace and urged the two to sheathe their swords in order for peace to reign.
