A former Minister for Interior, Captain Emma Ihenacho, has lost two of his younger siblings. He lost them, the same day, in a most heartbreaking manner. The Ihenachos are from Ezeogba, Emekuku.
The first to pass on was Maxwell. He passed on in the United Kingdom at about 6.00am after a brief illness on June, 19, 2022.
And, on hearing the news of her brother’s passing, Sylvia, his younger sister, collapsed, and never recovered from the shock. She followed her beloved brother out of Mother-earth at about 2.00pm same day.
The former Minister said he signed the statement announcing the passing of his siblings with the greatest sorrow. He asked for prayers for the repose of their souls.

Bereavement Announcement
“Dear Brothers and sisters,
It is with the greatest sorrow that I, on behalf of the Ihenacho family of Ezeogba Emekuku announce the sudden and unexpected passage of my Siblings Maxwell and Sylvia into eternity.
“My brother Maxwell passed on in a UK hospital after a brief illness at about 6am on the 19th June and my poor sister Sylvia, on hearing the news, was overcome with grief, collapsed and sadly passed on at about 2pm of thesame date. Please pray for the peaceful repose of the souls of my dear siblings in the bosom of the Lord.
May their souls rest in peace.

Ihenacho, a retired Merchant Navy, an entrepreneur who is into oil, gas and real estate, was Nigeria’s former Minister for Interior under President Goodluck Jonathan.
