The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, has named member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Festus Akingbaso as Deputy Governorship candidate in Ondo November 2024 Governorship election.
Akingbaso, a former Ondo State House of Assembly member was named as running mate to replace Sam Ogunmusi, Media Aide to Ajayi, whose name was earlier forwarded as a place holder to beat deadline by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
Akingbaso, from central senatorial district, was unveiled on Sunday by the PDP candidate after thorough scrutiny of names and credentials of prospective aspirants for the number two citizen slot.
Agboola/Akingbaso will face Ondo State Governor, Aiyedatiwa and others during Ondo 2024 poll slated for November.
PDP Deputy Governorship candidate for Ondo 2024 hails from Idanre local government regarded as the PDP domain in the state and one of the places that record huge votes during election.
