Again, LAHA Rejects Three Commissioner Nominees Sent By Governor Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State House of Assembly has confirmed 15 out of the Second Batch of 18 Commissioner- Nominees sent by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently.

Hon. Mojeed Fatai, Chief Whip and Chairman of the Screening Committee laid a report of the exercise before the House during Plenary presided over by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, confirming that the lawmakers rejected Olalere Odusote, Samuel Egube, and Hon. Tolani Sule Akibu.

However, the House resolved to step down the confirmation of Hon. Tolani Sule Akibu for another day.

Commending the Screening Committee for carrying out the mandate, Obasa said the members did a thorough job screening the nominees.

His position was also supported by the lawmakers present at plenary.
