For two times in 2024, the life of a United States of America-based Nigerian Boxer, Isaiah Olugbemi, was threatened by his neighbour, Nicholas Francis Xavier Giroux. It is not known whether the boxer took the threat seriously or not. If he did not, that was a big mistake. The third time proved fatal.
Olugbemi was shot dead by Giroux who released a volley of bullets pointedly on him. By the time he was rushed to a Baltimore hospital, it was late. He had died.
He was shot a number of times on Monday night at Meadowmist Way and Stehlik Drive Odenton.
According to Police, the trial of Giroux, aged 36, will begin on July 17, 2024.

Giroux, walking straight towards Olugbemi, carrying a handgun before shooting him several times. Thereafter, said Court papers, he fled the scene on foot.
The Police reveal Giroux confessed to the shooting on June 18.
