An Activist and a former Senator from Kaduna State, Shehu Sani,  has described January 27, 2023, the day Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke was removed from office, as “sad day for democracy.”

A three-man Election Tribunal, in a split judgement of two against one, sacked Adeleke on Friday, and declared former Governor Gboyega Oyetola, whom he had roundly defeated in the Governorship election held on July 16, 2022.
