Now the scion of Sir Kessingtion Adebutu has come out to debunk the rumours that he was dumping the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for another party to realize his gubernatorial ambition. The deeply-grass-rooted politician is one chap that will not shy away from the intrigues of politics even in the face of unsubstantiated rumours about his ambition. Adebutu is a very committed party member and will always remain one, says some of PDP stalwarts in Ogun State and at the center.

Adebutu is not hiding in the shadows of his father because he has created a good ambit for himself long before he came into limelight.

Rumours are never believed by those who know the truth, and rumours will remain rumours even when the facts are glaring, Adebutu stated.
