Adeboye: I Will Die Before My 100 Birthday

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG has many wishes as a devoted man of God, one of them is not to be a centenarian.

Recall that the man many of his followers like to call Daddy GO had few years ago said, his last meal before he die will be pounded yam.

Adeboye who celebrated his 78 birthday last month was preaching today, during the church’s monthly thanksgiving, at the RCCG headquarters in Ebute Meta, Lagos, Nigerian.

He narrated how one man once approached him to pray with him his last prayer before he died.

This man was already 84years at the time, and had been told that he was going to die soon.

A prophet had told the man many years ago that he was going to be wealthy and achieve so many things after which he would now die, Adeboye said.

The has achieved everything the prophet said and was now ready to die as the prophet said, according to Adeboye.

“But I told him, his prophet was a great prophet but you have now meat a greater prophet,” Adeboye told the man.

He said the many lived many years after and “when he reached 100years, he came to me that he’s now ready to go,” the man of God said.

But “I don’t want to reach 100,” years, Adeboye said.

The man of God who peached on the topic ‘Peace’ said he has experienced many stormy situations in his lifetime, but was saved by God.

One of them, he said was when he was traveling from Heathrow, United Kingdom, UK and the plane he was travelling suddening entered storm.

Adeboye said all the passengers were sore afraid that the plane was going to crash and they were all going to die.

He said he remained calm all through because ” I have peace that passeth all understanding.”

The man of God said what the children of God needs at this time of the corona virus pandemic, is to remain calm, because everything will soon return to normal.
