It was gathered that his decomposing body was found in a shallow grave along the airport road in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday.

It was gathered that his decomposing body was found in a shallow grave along the airport road in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday.
Prof Olaofe, a deputy vice chancellors at EKSU, was whisked away from his home at the housing estate in the state capital by unknown abductors with efforts to locate his whereabout futile.
His abductors also refused to make contact with any of his family members while his incarceration lasted.
News of recovery of the decomposing body was disclosed after a security meeting with members of his community and colleagues in Ado Ekiti by security agents.
One of the indigenes wrote on social media that “It is with heavy heart that we announce the untimely death of our Community Leader, Prof. Olorunfemi Olaofe, in our today’s meeting with the security agents of government.
“His body was found in a shallow grave along Airport road.
This is indeed a great loss to Are-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria and the Global Academic Community.”
