2023: Ortom Tells Obi To Approach Atiku, Tinubu; Ask Them To Step Down For Him

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has given Labour Party, LP, Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, a ray of hope and something to cheer about as the 2023 Presidential Election draws closer.

Ortom applauded Obi for possessing the  qualities to pilot the affairs of the country in 2023.

The former Anambra Governor, Ortom said, has all  it takes to be Nigeria’s President.

In the words of Ortom, “I have always said we must look beyond politics and work towards having a joint working relationship to ensure  we rescue Nigeria and rebuild it. And I think Peter Obi’s credentials are very clear and everybody knows.

“I appreciate him and he knows I am a very big stakeholder in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and he finds time to visit me. He has been going around and this is commendable and I appreciate him.

“And like I always say, John 3:27 says that ‘A Man can receive nothing except it is given to him from above.’

“So, if God decides it is him, nobody can stop him. If God decides it is somebody else nobody can stop him.

“So this is a veery welcome development and I believe if he reaches out to other Presidential Candidates in other political parties such as the PDP, APC and NNPP,

I believe he should be able to reach out to them, sit and talk to them and analyze the Nigeria situation and see if he can convince them to step down for him because there is provision for that, and if  he does that, it can work.

“Let us always put Nigeria first. That is what is most important and I think, so far, I commend his effort and I welcome him and appreciate him for his visit.”
